Singh said of the total amount, the requirement of Central funds will be Rs 35,616.93 crore since funds were shared between Centre and States in 75:25 ratio.

The Union Minister said the focus should be on productive self-employment with Central assistance and drew Ahluwalia's attention to Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) programme being implemented by his Ministry for poverty alleviation among the rural poor since 1999.
